Thank you for your interest in submitting material to FuS for Christ.  We thrive on unsolicited material, but please note the following guidelines for submission and criteria for publication:
  • Pieces may be submitted for any of the four FuS subsections -- the World, the Walk, the Way, and the Word.  See About FuS for descriptions of the sections.

  • With the exception of "the World," most articles should be relevant to Christians or as a witness to non-Christians.

  • Articles for "the World" may include commentary on current events, issues, politics, culture, etc.  They should appeal to a conservative Christian audience, without necessarily quoting Scripture or discussing faith concerns.

  • At this point, FuS receives no revenue and is a not-for-profit Web site, so at this time we are unable to offer monetary payment for works.

  • Please limit materials to a maximum of about 1200 words.

  • FuS reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, spelling, and article length.

  • Submissions may be written using first- or third-person perspectives.

  • Personal testimonies may also be submitted for use in the FuS "Numbering the Stars" section.  These should contain an account of how one was brought to a saving knowledge of Christ, or a story or example of an experience in one's life in which God's presence was clearly felt.

  • Please include a brief byline to be placed at the end of the piece that might include age, background, profession, etc.  (Example: Joe Smith is father of three and author of four books on parenting.

  • Please send all submissions via email to editor@fillingupspace.com, as either a text message or document attachment.  Include your name and any questions or insructions regarding your work.  Works are typically published within a week of submission unless specified otherwise.

  • Rights to original materials are retained by the author.  Articles may be republished or sold without permission by FuS.  However, articles will be archived on FuS until the author indicates otherwise.

  • Any other questions may be addressed by email to editor@fillingupspace.com.
